British International School of Timișoara provides English-medium education from Reception through Year 13. Reception follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, while Primary and Lower Secondary combine England’s National Curriculum with Cambridge programmes. Students progress to Cambridge IGCSE courses in Years 10–11 and can select either the IB Diploma Programme or A Levels in Sixth Form. Classes are limited to 22 students, with both a teacher and teaching assistant supporting Primary classes. The northern Timișoara campus combines a renovated historic building with a newer facility inaugurated in 2023. Facilities include science laboratories, libraries, art and music rooms, a physical-education hall, outdoor sports areas, green spaces, a canteen and a school garden. A distinctive feature is the choice between two separate university-entry pathways—IB Diploma and A Levels—within the same school. Students can also join sports teams, music and arts programmes, Model United Nations, debate, volunteering, leadership initiatives and a structured work-experience programme.
